Week One

(Please be patient, there are lots of pictures this week)

This was our first full week and Monday started with regular activity periods. The campers are now able to choose their activities by signing up on a daily basis after breakfast and again after lunch. The weather improved and actually got quite hot. We spent a lot of time in the water on Wednesday with temps in the 90s.

The "Twilight League" teams were announced after Friday lunch with each team's coaches performing a skit. The costumes and skits can be crazy.  A few of the names are "EPA" (or Emergency Action Plan), "Lumpkin", "Squat", "XTL".  Ask your son what team he is on!  The first game was played Friday night.

We had our first all camp "Capture the Flag" game on Saturday morning. The whole camp is divided into 2 teams - Greens and Grays.  It's a very exciting game.

In addition, 4 camping trips went out. .  The Eagles and the Hawks each  traveled down the Songo Lockes to spend the night camping on the shores of Sebago Lake. The Crows left on Monday for a 4 day camping trip, the highlight being a white water rafting trip down the Kennebec River. A sign-up trip spent Friday night on the shores of Sebago Lake.
